KadisBio and Severance Hospital have successfully completed the world’s first administration of iPSC-derived endothelial cells in a patient with peripheral artery disease (PAD) as part of an advanced regenerative clinical study.

The study uses patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) differentiated into endothelial cells to promote vascular regeneration in ischemic limbs, marking a significant milestone in regenerative medicine.

KadisBio is responsible for establishing patient-derived iPSCs, developing endothelial cell differentiation technology, and manufacturing and quality control of clinical-grade cell products.
