2026 ISSCR Annual Meeting에서 카디스바이오의 윤영섭 대표이사가 말초동맥질환(Peripheral Artery Disease, PAD)을 대상으로 한 카디스바이오의 자가 유래 iPSC-EC 프로그램과 국내 임상 1상 준비 현황을 발표했습니다.

발표 이후에는 연구자, 임상의, 그리고 바이오산업 관계자들이 윤 대표와 직접 의견을 나누기 위해 발표장을 찾았습니다. 이번 발표를 통해 혈관 재생의학 분야의 높은 미충족 의료 수요와 차세대 세포치료제에 대한 관심을 다시 한번 체감할 수 있었습니다.

이번 ISSCR Annual Meeting에서 카디스바이오의 과학과 기술력이 세계 최고 수준의 전문가들에게 공감과 신뢰를 얻고 있음을 확인하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다. 앞으로도 카디스바이오는 혁신적인 재생의학 기술을 통해 말초동맥질환 환자들에게 새로운 치료 가능성을 제시하기 위해 최선을 다하겠습니다.

At this year’s ISSCR Annual Meeting, CEO of KadisBio Inc., Young-Sup Yoon presented KadisBio’s autologous iPSC-EC program for peripheral artery disease — including early process for  Phase I clinical trial in Korea.

The response from the audience was beyond our expectations. After the session, a line formed as researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders waited to speak with Dr. Yoon directly. It was a humbling reminder of just how much unmet need exists in vascular regenerative medicine — and how much momentum this field has gained.

We visited Montréal to learn and connect. We left with something more — validation that KadisBio’s science resonates at the highest level of the field.
