카리스바이오가 산업통상자원부 산하 한국산업기술진흥원이 지원하는 ‘글로벌산업기술협력센터 공동연구 R&D 지원과제’에 선정되었습니다!

이번 과제를 통해 세계 최초로 인간 심장 오가노이드를 이용한 심혈관질환 신약 개발 및 독성 평가용 자동화 고효율 플랫폼을 개발하는 것을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 3년간 총 정부 지원금 60억 원의 이번 과제는 카리스바이오가 주관기관으로 참여하며, 국내 한국전기연구원, 연세대학교, 그리고 미국 Emory University와 함께 국제 컨소시엄을 구성하여 각 분야 최고 기술력을 결집해 연구를 진행할 예정입니다.

KarisBio has been selected for the “Global Industry Technology Cooperation Center Joint Research R&D Support Project” supported by the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) under the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy!

Through this project, KarisBio aims to develop the world’s first automated high-efficiency platform for cardiovascular drug development and toxicity assessment using human heart organoids.

With a total government funding of 6 billion KRW over three years, KarisBio will serve as the lead organization and collaborate with the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute, Yonsei University in South Korea, and Emory University in the United States. Together, they will pool world-class expertise across various fields to carry out this groundbreaking research.
