Jay Han has more than 20 years of research experience in cell biology, molecular biology, and immunology in academia, Emory and Vanderbilt University, and industry, MedExGen Inc., Korea. Most recently he spent 13 years at Emory University School of Medicine, where he has been involved in the reprogramming of cell fate with small molecules to generate chemically induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) from fibroblasts (U.S. Patent #9,458,131) and to restore cell functions of defective stem cells from diabetic subjects for treating ischemic diseases or diabetic neuropathy (U.S. Patent #10,828,331). Currently, he is also an instructor at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA, and holds PhD in cell biology from Yonsei University, Korea.
